About

Built by practitioners who
ran SOCs before they automated them.

Blacklight is not an AI company that discovered cybersecurity. It is a cybersecurity company that was rebuilt around autonomous agents. We have lived the alert-fatigue problem from the inside, and we engineered the platform to kill it.

How we think about the work

Three commitments.

Made before we wrote the first line of code. They have not moved since.

  1. 01 Principle

Agents serve analysts, never replace them.

The SOC analyst is the decision-maker. The platform clears the noise, runs the investigation, and presents the case. The analyst owns the call. We measure success by how much faster a good analyst can be, not by how many people we can take out of the chair.

  2. 02 Principle

If we can explain it, we ship it. If we cannot, we do not.

Every agent decision shows its reasoning. Every recommended action shows the evidence. If the platform cannot defend its conclusion in plain English to a regulator and to the board, the conclusion is wrong and the feature is not ready.

  3. 03 Principle

Built by people who got paged at three in the morning.

The team has carried the pager. We know which alerts mattered and which were noise. We know which tickets the regulator asked for and which were paperwork theatre. That experience is the source of every design decision.

The team behind the platform

Security practitioners,
AI researchers, and builders.

Our team has run SOCs, shipped platforms under load and under attack, and answered to regulators. We build as one team, not a roster of names.

Leadership

Security builders, not marketers.

Product and strategy

Security operators turned builders. They have carried the pager, run the investigations, and shipped the fixes, and they still review the detections and the roadmap alongside the team.

Product and Engineering

AI engineers and security practitioners.

Platform team

Former SOC analysts, threat hunters and incident responders building alongside engineers. Every detection and workflow is shaped by people who have done the job, not just modelled it.

Partnerships

Global Partner Networks.

Channel and alliances

Delivery partners across North America, UK-Europe, Middle East and APAC. Every deployment is backed by a regional team that speaks the local regulator’s language.

Credentials, recognitions, and standards

Trust is not a marketing claim.

It is a third-party audit, a regulator sign-off, and a recognised partner vouching for the platform.
